Prefect Guidelines for Project PagesEdit

DutiesEdit

One of the notable tasks that the Prefect must fulfill is the adding of new members when requested on the project's talk page. Newer members who have any questions should be directed to the Headmaster, followed by the Deputy Headmaster if the Headmaster is too busy to respond. If needed, newer members may ask Prefects some questions, who are required to give a response within a week of the question given- there are exceptions.
The involvement of the Prefect in a manner of contributing to the project is important. Being active is crucial to the project and should the Prefect not keep good track of the project for a maximum of three weeks, they will lose their position and automatically be listed as a Ghost. Should they return, they will not be allowed to take back their position, but at most, be given the rank of Professor. The only exception to this rule is if the Prefect is dealing with a family issue or going on vacation, in which they leave a message on the project talk page explaining so.
Keeping the talk page clean is a major must and the Prefects have that duty, though it is worth noting that a higher rank should fulfill the task first. Only under the circumstances that the Headmaster and Deputy Headmaster are busy should Prefects archive the talk page discussions.
The Prefects are to, along with the Headmaster and Deputy Headmaster, nominate members that deserve a higher position in the Nomination section of the project's talk page.

RequirementsEdit

  • One month in the Project (with the exception of the first seven months of the making of the Harry Potter Role-play Wiki)
